Michael Bogosian

In just under 4 years of content creation,  I have been able to gain invaluable experiences and work at some of the highest levels across many different industries.

Picking up a camera in 2023, I began creating content for Roger Williams University Athletics.  I quickly took on the role of Social Media Coordinator for the RWU Baseball team which I had previously been a member of.  Reflecting on my first season in this role, my main goal over the course of the season was to increase awareness and engagement for Roger Williams Baseball as a whole. In a short period of time, we saw significant improvements with the use of strictly graphics, reels and photos.  Looking at the numbers through just my first season as Social Media Coordinator for the 2024 season, there were 32,827 accounts reached, 95.9% being non followers which is a 251% increase from the previous months. The account received 243,223 impressions, which is a 243% increase. The non-follower account engagement increased by 532% and non followers were responsible for 64.5% of overall account engagement. Lastly, improvement in Reels were something that made a big difference in the account's engagement, leading to a 389% increase in reel interactions.

At the same time during the 2023-2024 academic year, I became the Director of Media Relations for SB Athletics, located in Rhode Island.  This started out as just doing video jobs throughout the soccer season, quickly turning into working side by side with Rob Squillante to take SB Athletics socials to the next level with a drastic increase in interaction with high school soccer players, becoming the #1 source for RI high school and college soccer news, content and rankings.

With these experiences under my belt, I was able to land a Creative Content Internship with the Cape Cod Baseball League for the summer of 2024, gaining an invaluable experience.  Working alongside some of the best the country has to offer in the sports world, I was able to continue to develop my content creating skill set also have the opportunity to come up with some creative initiatives for the social pages that were effective for the overall brand.

Throughout the 2024-2025 academic year I was fortunate enough to be selected to be a part of the class that would represent Roger Williams University in the National Student Advertising Competition.  Over the course of the two semesters, we developed a fully integrated marketing strategy—from in-depth consumer research and media planning to creative execution—tailored to AT&T’s business objectives and brand voice. Competing against other top programs in our district was both challenging and inspiring, and we were incredibly proud to have accomplished 2nd Place in the district. â€‹â€‹
